October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join us for an important lunchtime conversation as we start Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2022. This virtual Lunch & Learn features a guided conversation focused on: the Power and Control Wheel as a tool for understanding the tactics abusers employ, the effects of domestic violence on our local community, the opportunities we all have to help. Show your support this Domestic Violence Awareness Month by listening, learning, and participating! We understand the sensitive nature of this conversation. Toiletry Drive

You can empower survivors of domestic violence by participating in our annual Toiletry Drive! Financial need is the #1 reason women return to an abusive relationship. Live & Learn works with 200 domestic violence survivors each year. Your toiletry donations help women stay stable as they work towards self-sufficiency! This October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are collecting the following items:  Toothbrush/Toothpaste Soap/Body Wash Shampoo/Conditioner Hair Products Feminine Hygiene Products Deodorant  Lotion You can help in three ways: Drop off toiletry donations! Intro to Live & Learn Webinar

Join us for a short introductory webinar to Live & Learn! During this half-hour webinar, participants: Learn about Live & Learn's mission to empower women to break the cycle of generational poverty, Gain insight into the problems facing Maricopa County women, Then, discuss the ways you can volunteer and donate to make a difference! We offer the Intro to Live & Learn webinar, virtually, on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 12:30pm-1pm.
