🌟 Meet Sara, a resilient mother determined to break the cycle of violence and poverty for her children. Raised in instability and abuse, Sara found herself facing similar challenges as an adult. But with the support of organizations like Save the Family and Live & Learn, she refused to give up.
Despite experiencing homelessness and setbacks, Sara remained focused on creating a better future. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, she adapted and persevered, determined to provide for her family.
With guidance from Live & Learn, Sara secured a job at Carvana, earning $18/hour.
Sara's story is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of support. Together, we can break the cycle and create brighter futures for women like Sara and her children. 💪🏽✨

It’s time for Live & Learn’s annual Women in College Supply Drive!
You can help ensure women have what they need to succeed in school.
Why?
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their education. If you do, too, please support this important school supply drive for women in college.
How?
3 Ways to Participate!
- Drop off donations of school supplies at Live & Learn’s office on Friday June 23rd, 10am – 2pm or Saturday July 8th, 10am – 12pm or by appointment. Email Hope@liveandlearnaz.org to schedule a drop-off time.
- Local businesses, churches, and individuals have set up collection boxes throughout Maricopa County. To learn how you can set up your own collection box in your community, email Hope@liveandlearnaz.org
- You may also participate by making a donation to support women on their journey to financial independence.
