What is National Volunteer Month?
April is National Volunteer Month, and as a small non-profit organization, we thrive off of the support of our volunteers! President Nixon first declared the importance of volunteers in 1974 by calling upon communities to “honor those who have given countless hours for the betterment of our communities and the American way of life.” In 1990, the global community finally acknowledged April as Global Volunteer Month.
Live & Learn Volunteers
We are so grateful for our dedicated volunteers that use their skills to creatively support our mission at Live & Learn.
How To Volunteer
Being a volunteer is a great way to give back to your community, and there are numerous ways to get involved with us at Live & Learn! If you are interested in volunteering with us, please check out our events calendar, join us at our next Volunteer Connect, or email volunteer@liveandlearnaz.org. If you’re unable to make it to any of our upcoming events, please spread the word about Live & Learn, or check out our Back 2 School Supply Drive to support women and children this fall.
