Program Manager

Isabel Garcia is a Phoenix native and currently the Program Manager at Live and Learn. Formally trained as a social worker, Isabel began her career 14 years ago in service-based mental health, adult literacy, and health education programs in her home of south Phoenix.

In 2018, called to grassroots organizing and systemic-level work, Isabel transitioned to Poder In Action, where she held varying roles building the organizational infrastructure needed for effective community organizing and power building.

In early 2026, after completing a short tenure as an interim Co-Executive Director at Poder In Action and sister organization, AZ Poder, Isabel returned to direct service as the Program Manager at Live and Learn, where she utilizes her skills and experience in program management, community organizing, and social work to support women in achieving economic mobility.
