Executive Assistant

Destiny Garcia serves as Executive Assistant at Live & Learn Program, where she supports daily organizational operations, administrative systems, donor processing, communications, and special projects that help advance the organization’s mission of empowering women through education and workforce development.

Destiny also serves as Survivor Advocacy Coordinator for Arizonans for Effective Public Safety, leading initiatives that elevate the voices of victims and survivors while promoting evidence-based public safety policies. Her work includes coordinating advocacy campaigns, conducting policy research, developing educational content, and collaborating with community leaders to improve resources for victims, families, and underserved communities across Arizona.

A first-generation college graduate from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Destiny is passionate about using thoughtful communication, research, and collaboration to create meaningful community impact. She believes lasting change happens when organizations invest in people, listen to lived experiences, and build solutions grounded in compassion, accountability, and evidence.
